When you order a canopy such as a sail canopy, sprayhood, cockpit enclosure etc from us, you can choose from Sunbrella's color palette and canvases or from Tempotest. In terms of quality, we recommend both!

  • Colours & Nuances

    A variety of colors are available for all boat canopies, you will always find one that suits you. The boat covers are made with black or white zippers and details and have some breathability. 

    We sew boat covers with Tenara thread, which has a unique UV resistance and a 15-year UV guarantee. In addition to its UV-resistant properties, Tenara thread is also chemical-resistant, which means that the boat canopy is less affected by, for example, canopy washing. 

  • If the canopy leaks

    The canvas is 100% waterproof. However, when the boat cover is new, it may leak at the seams during the first rains. This is because the needle is thicker than the thread. After some time, the thread swells and the canopy becomes tight. Protect instruments, cushions and other delicate items during the first rains. 

  • Zippers

    Heavy-duty delrin stitching covered with fabric for longer life of the boat cover and its function. Lubricate the zippers with candle wax once a year and you will improve the function and extend the life of the boat cover.

Boat Canopy Frames

A new boat canopy and especially an upgraded canopy or cover depends on the frames. At Kapell & Annat you can usually equip your boat with a new canopy for the existing frames or do a full upgrade with the new frames which allows for a bigger and better design of the canopy.

The frames are very sturdy and can be made foldable, upright or divisible so that you can have the boat shelter out as desired in any weather. Most frames are made of acid-proof stainless steel, which offers more stability and aesthetics.
