NSTEC INSHORE

NORTH SAILS PERFORMANCE innovative 3-layer waterproof, durable and breathable garments. This product line does not have the premium features of Gore-Tex Pro, but is lightweight and very affordable! NSTEC 3-layer has a 20.000 W/P water column and provides very good protection.

OCEAN

The sailing gear for those who want the absolute best in the toughest environments. 4DL technology with GORE-TEX and Tightweave technology makes the sailing clothes the absolute best in terms of breathability, waterproofness and flexibility. The garments are also much lighter in weight, making them a dream to use while sailing.

North Sails has solved the decades-old problem with sailing clothes, namely that you always feel wet in the buttocks and other reinforcements. The new 4DL technology consists of 4 layers of different materials of which the outer wear protection is laminated to the textile.

Like the Ocean range, the Offshore models feature the innovative TightWeave™ technology which has a tighter weave than traditional fabrics, preventing water penetration, but is lighter and very flexible.

Due to recent developments in sustainability, the chemicals that made up the impregnation have become less effective. With Tightweave, the fibers of the textile have become tighter, resulting in a very strong material that does not absorb water like previously used materials.
